Accelerated Pathways Program
Get a jump start on your graduate education by taking master’s coursework during your undergraduate senior year through the Accelerated Pathways Program at Georgetown McDonough.
The Accelerated Pathways Program is available for three master’s programs: Master’s in Management (MiM), M.S. in Global Real Assets (GRA), and M.S. in Finance (MSF).



Why an Accelerated Pathway?
Maximize Time
MiM and GRA
By starting the MiM or GRA program during your senior year you can earn up to six credits toward your graduate degree, allowing you to benefit from extra time during the program to dedicate to an internship or focus on your job search while still having a unique cohort experience.
MSF
By completing 12 credits in the spring of (or after your senior year for December graduates), you will be able to complete the program 12 months after your undergraduate graduation, earning both your undergraduate and MSF degree in 4.5 or 5 years.

When you become a graduate student, you will have access to career resources at the McDonough Career Center, which has a dedicated career advising team and offers personalized coaching, interview preparation, and a variety of workshops designed to help you succeed.
Additional Benefits
- Gain extra time to strengthen your resume with an internship (MiM)
- With classes held just two days a week, you will have more time for part-time work or an internship (GRA)
- By earning 12 credits during your senior year, you could complete the graduate degree online. This means you will have the flexibility to take a job outside the DMV without interrupting your studies. (MSF)
- Pay for six graduate credits at the undergraduate rate. (MiM, GRA)
- Pay for 12 graduate credits at the undergraduate rate during fall of senior year. (MSF)
