Darren Wolf

Darren Wolf is the Global Head of Investments for the Alternative Investment Strategies (AIS) business at abrdn. As such Darren oversees research, portfolio construction and top-down strategy research, and is a member of the Global Investment Committee. The AIS team covers private credit and hedge fund strategies on a global basis.

Darren joined abrdn via their acquisition of Arden Asset Management in 2015, where he was the Director of Research and a member of Arden’s Investment Committee. At Arden, Darren was responsible for managing the day-to-day research activities of the firm.

Previously, he was on the Investment Committee and the Head of Research at Robeco-Sage Investment Management, where he joined as a member of the investment team in 2001.

Darren has a B.S. in Finance from Yeshiva University and has completed the LEAD Executive Education Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Darren is a CFA charter holder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA). Darren is also currently an adjunct professor of Finance, for Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.
