Demetri Diavatis is Co-CEO/Founder of Crushr DC, an environmental waste services company that has over 250 clients in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Since starting in 2020, Crushr has saved it’s clients over $4.5 million in hauling fees and reduced over 1,000 tons of combined carbon footprint for them. Prior to that, Demetri spent 22 years at Friedman Billings Ramsey (FBR) as a Senior Vice President of Institutional Equity where he covered some of the largest asset managers in the US and Canada. During his time at FBR, he participated in over $20 billion of public offerings and private placements. He holds a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Georgetown University. Demetri is a board member of the St. George Greek School in Bethesda, MD and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two children.
