  • Undergraduates Receive Research Funding

    This summer, the Undergraduate Research Fellow Awards will provide $70,000 in funding for 19 students to conduct research with faculty on topics ranging from consumer satisfaction and behavior to corporate governance in Africa.

    Students who receive the Undergraduate Research Fellow Award are recruited by the Office of Fellowships and Awards. Students will be required to prepare a poster for the first McDonough Undergraduate Research Symposium this fall.

  • Are India's Trade Policies Hurting Its Growth Prospects?

    The Center for Business and Public Policy at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business will present “The Elephant Stumbles? Are India's trade policies hurting its growth prospects?” as part of its Georgetown on the Hill series, which brings the center’s work to Capitol Hill for tutorials on public policy issues. 
    India’s economy has slowed from a 10-year average of about 8 percent growth to 5 percent growth, and its trade deficit has ballooned to $191 billion.

  • Young Women From Around the Globe Get Leadership Training at Georgetown McDonough

    A total of 26 girls and women age 15 to 23 from around the world were hosted last week by Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business for a leadership summit that included inspirational talks by professional women engaged in diplomacy, government, business and non-governmental sectors.

  • Georgetown McDonough Joins the Consortium

    The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, a national not-for-profit organization focused on diversity and inclusion in American business, is pleased to announce that Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business has been added to its list of prestigious business schools. The addition of Georgetown brings The Consortium’s member school total to a historical high of 18.
    The Consortium recruits new member schools selectively. Georgetown is the first university to join the roster since 2010.
