  • Executive Master's in Leadership Alumna Featured in Black Enterprise Magazine

    Amber Hamilton, an alumna of Georgetown’s Executive Master’s in Leadership Program, recently was featured in Black Enterprise magazine.

    The article in the October 2009 issue, titled “How to Prepare for any Crisis: Georgetown University Teaches Leadership,” explains Hamilton’s decision to pursue the Executive Master’s in Leadership degree as a way to enhance her leadership skills at a time she needed them most - while working as a senior program manager for Fannie Mae during the global financial crisis.

  • George Tenet Speaks to 200 Executive Program Students

    On Wednesday, Oct. 7, George Tenet, former director of central intelligence for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency and Georgetown University distinguished professor in the practice of diplomacy, was the third of six distinguished speakers in a program custom designed for Booz Allen Hamilton. The Change Management Advanced Practitioner Program is a five-month program designed to give Booz Allen consultants greater breadth and depth in change management principles.

  • McDonough School of Business Participates in “GE Live” Event

    Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business was one of eight business schools around the world to participate in the 2009 “GE Live” event on Wednesday, Oct. 8. The question and answer session with Jeff Immelt, chairman and CEO of GE, and Keith Sherin, vice chairman and CFO of GE, was hosted off campus and simulcast to Georgetown, where students had the opportunity to watch the event and pose questions to the executives.
