Housing

All Georgetown University graduate students live in off-campus housing. Apartments and shared houses are available for rent in the many diverse and exciting neighborhoods of Washington and Northern Virginia.

Student Neighborhoods

Most Georgetown students choose to live in neighborhoods close to campus; each one has its own particular character. Some of the most popular student neighborhoods include:

  • Georgetown/Glover Park
  • Dupont Circle/Kalorama
  • Adams Morgan/U Street
  • Arlington / Rosslyn (Virginia)
  • Ballston (Virginia)
  • Alexandria (Virginia)

Georgetown University offers two housing search programs during which students may stay in campus dormitories while looking for an apartment. Participants also receive apartment information and can seek advice from the Georgetown Office of Off-Campus Housing.
