The ranking measures schools in the categories of compensation, learning, networking, entrepreneurship, and inclusion. Results are based on surveys of alumni, students, and corporate recruiters, as well as employment and admissions data provided by schools.

This year, Georgetown McDonough saw continued momentum in compensation, rising to 21st from 22nd – a reflection of the program’s strong career outcomes and the increasing value employers place on McDonough graduates.

The Georgetown Full-time MBA is designed to develop principled leaders prepared to navigate complex global challenges. Through a rigorous curriculum that blends foundational business knowledge with experiential learning, students gain the skills to solve real-world problems while honing their strategic thinking, leadership, and data and analytics capabilities. Signature programs including the Global Business Experience consulting projects and Executive Challenge provide opportunities to apply classroom lessons in real-world business contexts, ensuring graduates are ready to make an immediate impact in their careers.

Students can further tailor their MBA with certificates in consumer analytics and insights, global real estate, healthcare, nonmarket strategy, and sustainable business, as well as co-curricular experiences like the Small Business Corps, engagement with a growing list of faculty-led centers, initiatives, and institutes, and leadership roles in over 40 student clubs

Steeped in a values-based education, Georgetown McDonough prepares MBA students to become principled leaders in business. This mission is reinforced through courses such as Ethical Leadership and the signature “Ethics Project” – an open-ended, semester-long group project with a simple prompt to “think of something good to do, and do it” to practice ethical principles with real-world application.

As a result of ongoing course innovation and real-world experiences, Georgetown MBA students continue to find career success and join a community of highly qualified professionals who support them during their time on the Hilltop and beyond.

“Our rise in compensation underscores the strength of our career preparation and the demand for McDonough graduates in the global marketplace,” said Sudipta Dasmohapatra, senior associate dean for MBA programs. “At the same time, our commitment to principled leadership, global perspective, and innovative learning ensures our students are prepared not only for immediate career success, but also for long-term impact in business and society.”
