The Executive Master’s in Leadership – Greece (EML–G) is a rigorous graduate degree that prepares experienced professionals to lead amid complex business, policy, and societal challenges. Delivered by Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in Athens, the program develops executives with a broad, integrative perspective on leadership and the forces shaping organizations and economies in Greece, the region, and beyond.

In collaboration with PPC, a leading Powertech Group in Southeast Europe, the Executive Master’s in Leadership – Greece (EML–G) supports the development of senior talent equipped to lead through economic transformation, energy transition, and institutional change. Offered by Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, this program is AACSB accredited.
The curriculum draws on Georgetown’s long-established Executive Master’s in Leadership program while situating leadership practice within the strategic, regulatory, and societal contexts shaping Greece and the broader region. Over 10 months of study, participants gain an integrated understanding of leadership, business, and public policy, preparing them to navigate complexity and drive organizational impact.
Structured for working professionals, the program is delivered through 10 intensive modules. Nine modules are taught in Athens once a month on Thursday through Sunday, complemented by a culminating residency and commencement ceremony at Georgetown’s campus in Washington, D.C. This design allows participants to engage deeply with the curriculum while continuing to meet professional responsibilities, and to develop a leadership perspective that is both locally grounded and globally informed.

Students will primarily study in Athens, but also will engage in an international residency in Washington, D.C. The week-long residency provides a behind-the-scenes view of the intersection of business and government. The residency includes a mix of classroom lectures; site visits throughout the city to locations like the United States Congress, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; and interactive panel discussions with experts in energy and sustainability, foreign policy, finance, and other fields.
Students also complete a team-based Action Learning Project while in the program. The project provides an opportunity for students to actively apply learnings from the EML-G program to solve pressing issues in their organization. Each project is based on a significant challenge faced by the organization.
Tuition and Fees
The tuition fee for the Executive Master’s in Leadership – Greece Fall 2026 intake is $79,560 USD.
This tuition rate includes all academic instruction, required books and materials, access to the university library electronic resources, and select meals during the Athens-based modules. It also covers specified meals, local transportation, short-term student health insurance, and hotel accommodations for the global residency in Washington, D.C.
The tuition fee excludes individual healthcare or long-term health insurance premiums, local transportation, and housing expenses during the Athens portion of the program. Additional costs for the global residency, such as round-trip airfare, visas, and incidental travel expenses, also are the responsibility of the student.
Scholarships recognize senior professionals who lead with purpose and integrity. Select merit-based awards honor individuals driving meaningful change in their organizations and communities. Applicants must include a scholarship essay and may receive only one award.
M.S. in Environment and Sustainability Management Degree
Georgetown University is proud to offer two degree programs in Greece in partnership with PPC.
