Kerry Pace

Associate Dean, MBA Programs 

Dean Pace is responsible for achieving the strategic mission of the MBA Program Office at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, which is to create a transformational and overall exceptional experience for MBA students. In her role, Pace oversees student support services for the Full-time and Evening/Flex MBA Programs and works closely with the Program Office team to help guide academic advising and monitor students’ academic progress. She also drives initiatives focused on diversity and inclusion, gender equity, and leadership development. She is particularly focused on ensuring MBA students have opportunities for reflection and holistic growth while at McDonough. Pace has supported and advocated for graduate students at Georgetown University for over twenty years. She received a bachelor’s degree in religious studies and political science from Indiana University and a master’s degree in higher education from Louisiana State University.

Lisa Kahn

Assistant Dean, Academic Affairs

Kahn is a program and student organization advisor and works with all academic advisors on policies and procedures, student communications, academic performance, and graduation. Prior to her arrival at Georgetown McDonough in 2014, Kahn worked for nearly 10 years at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Relations in both student life and academic affairs. She began her career in academic affairs at Harvard University. Kahn received a bachelor’s in psychology and government from Dartmouth College and master’s in higher education from Harvard University. Kahn also holds an Executive Certificate in Strategic Diversity & Inclusion Management from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies.She grew up in New Jersey, and enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and watching tennis and baseball.

Jessica Steinberg

Assistant Dean, Strategy and Operations

Jessica provides strategic and operational guidance at both the departmental and cross-departmental levels. Her role oversees critical MBA Program Office operations, finance, global experiential learning, events, and student data collection and analysis. Prior to joining the MBA Program team, Jessica served for over three years as the Director of Strategic Operations in the MBA Career Center. Jessica’s career has spanned across global business development, college counseling, and education access in various nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, and secondary schools. Prior to Georgetown, Jessica worked as the Regional Manager for India and Latin America at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. She earned a BS in Psychology from Boston University, an MSEd in Counseling from Fordham University, an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and most recently completed the Executive Certificate in Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Management at Georgetown.

Laura Erikson

Associate Director

Erikson has worked at Georgetown University since 2016. She leads student organization operations and initiatives, leadership and workshop training, and supports Program Office and co-curricular operations and events. Erikson is a program and student organization advisor, and also oversees the MBA Student Government Associations. Erikson has a B.A. in Communications and German with a minor in Psychology from Albion College in Michigan, a business certificate from HBX CORe, and an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

Kelly McGrath

Assistant Director

McGrath serves as an Assistant Director in the MBA Program Office. She is a program and student organization advisor who supports the international student population and oversees various academic processes such as cross-registration and exam coordination. Prior to Georgetown, she served as an academic advisor for international students at American University and supported orientation initiatives at the University of Notre Dame. McGrath earned her B.A. in Communications and International Studies from Boston College and her M.A. in International Education from NYU. She is a native Long Islander and former college swimmer who enjoys spending time at the beach and traveling.

Rachel Smith

Assistant Director

Smith serves as an Assistant Director in the MBA Program Office. She is a program and student organization advisor who manages academic support and experiential learning initiatives such as tutorials and community engagement. She comes to Georgetown from American University, where she served first in the Center for Community Engagement and Service and later as an academic coordinator for an international student program. Smith earned her BA in International Affairs from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY and her MA in International Training and Education from American University. Raised in Kentucky, Smith enjoys camping, hiking, studying languages (Korean, Mandarin, and working on Spanish), and anything related to fantasy.

Stephanie Francis

Program Office Coordinator

Francis serves as the Program Office Coordinator in the MBA Program Office. As part of her administrative role, she strives to create and promote a welcoming and supportive environment for all who visit the MBA Programs Office suite. Prior to Georgetown, she worked with an international education organization in their admissions department; working with schools like American University and Auburn University. Francis earned her B.A. in Communications and Sociology from Gordon College. A native Bostonian, she enjoys traveling and a good book.

Jayne Smyth

MBA Program Manager

Smyth serves as the MBA Program Manager in the MBA Program Office. In this role she supports the MBA Program Office in enhancing the MBA student experience by providing operational support and delivering Program Office and student events. Prior to this, she worked in recruitment marketing at Appian and recruitment coordination for the Georgetown MBA Career Center. She is originally from Alabama and can be found enjoying a show at the Kennedy Center in her spare time.
