Elizabeth DiBiagio (B’20)
Hometown: Barre, Vermont
Major(s): Management and Marketing
Why did you choose Georgetown?
I chose Georgetown because of the military-connected community. I felt at home with other students who had a similar military background.
What is your favorite memory or proudest moment from your time at Georgetown?
My proudest moment was serving as the vice president for the Georgetown University Student Veteran Association.
What is one of the most important lessons you have learned while at Georgetown?
Always go to office hours!
Is there a particular person that helped shape your Georgetown experience into what it is today?
I do not consider myself a particularly religious person, however, I ended up taking three theology classes because of Lauve Steenhuisen, full teaching professor of theology at Georgetown University. It has been her compassion and guidance that has helped me over the last three years.
What was your favorite class?
My favorite class was Religion and Cults in America.
What are you most looking forward to as an alumna?
Served in the military…check! Got married to my best friend…check! Now that I am going to be an alumna, I look forward to taking the next step in my life’s adventure — whatever that may be.
