Full-Time MBA
Georgetown University’s MBA Full-Time Program at the McDonough School of Business delivers an advanced business education characterized by a collaborative approach and global mind set. By living and learning in the heart of Washington, D.C., students are immersed in a rigorous learning environment with strong connections to the global business market.
Georgetown’s MBA Full-Time Program yields a general management degree that provides students with the functional knowledge and intellectual skills to manage and lead an organization with insight and success. Building on a foundation of core business subjects, Georgetown’s MBA Full-Time Program curriculum allows students to select career tracks and elective classes tailored to meet their interests and goals.
Working and learning together in an environment of cooperation and healthy competition, students benefit from Georgetown’s team-centered approach. Each incoming class is divided into cohorts of approximately 60 students who share core classes and student activities. Cohorts build connections among students from diverse backgrounds and professional experience and allow for small class sizes and close contact with faculty.
In addition to regular coursework, students complete four residencies, intensive, week long courses that challenge students to put their learning to work in simulated and real-world business experiences, including the Global Residency, in which student consulting teams tackle a pressing problem for real-world international corporations and travel abroad to present their work to the client’s senior leadership.
The faculty at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business is composed of highly regarded scholars and accomplished business leaders who bring their experience and expertise to the classroom. Small class size makes for personalized attention and approachable faculty members eager to share their wealth of practical knowledge over the course of the student’s study at Georgetown.
Students may prepare for their future with Career Management Services. From helping students develop the tools necessary to advance their careers to building relationships with potential future employers, Georgetown’s Career Management team works closely with students to determine how their individual talents and interests can contribute to their long-term professional achievement.
