Community
Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business fosters a sense of community among its students by keeping class size small and encouraging close collaboration between fellow students in their coursework, residencies, and extracurricular activities.
At Georgetown University’s MBA Full-Time Program, the cohort system enhances the development of students’ innate leadership qualities and business sophistication. By dividing each incoming class into cohorts of approximately 60 professionally and culturally diverse students, the cohort system forges bonds between fellow students, transforming them into trusted colleagues.
Each cohort shares the same core courses and student activities. Cohort members learn from and challenge each other in a collaborative, professional team-centered environment.
Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business places great emphasis on educating well-rounded professionals capable of working within a collaborative environment and managing a diverse team of colleagues. The cohort experience complements the coursework of Georgetown’s MBA Full-Time Program by putting theory into practice.
