Student Organizations at Georgetown McDonough

Georgetown McDonough offers a dynamic and diverse array of undergraduate student organizations designed to enhance the academic, professional, and social experiences of business students. All recognized organizations operate under the McDonough School of Business Student Advisory Board (MSAB), which works in partnership with the Undergraduate Programs Office to ensure alignment with university policies and foster collaboration among student leaders.

McDonough School of Business Student Advisory Board

The McDonough Student Advisory Board (MSAB) provides oversight, transparency, and guidance to all McDonough undergraduate student clubs. This student-run body allocates funding, delivers training, and ensures compliance with university guidelines. MSAB promotes engagement and leadership development by supporting student-led initiatives across campus. Elections for MSAB occur each spring semester.

First Generation Investors

Educates high school students in underserved D.C. communities through an eight-week financial literacy program. Participants receive a $100 real-world investment portfolio funded by the national nonprofit. Open to all undergraduates.


Georgetown Aspiring Minority Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs (GAMBLE)

Supports all undergraduates by offering career planning resources, alumni mentorship, and programming centered on diversity, inclusion, and leadership in business.


Georgetown Eco Consultants

A student-run, pro bono consulting group focused on sustainability. GEC partners with local nonprofits and businesses to deliver environmental solutions rooted in policy, strategy, and business innovation.


Georgetown Entertainment and Media Alliance (GEMAU)

Creates a space for students passionate about media and entertainment to build careers through community, mentorship, and professional development.


Georgetown Entrepreneurship Club

Fosters a community of innovators and problem-solvers through events, workshops, and mentorship. Open to students at any stage of the entrepreneurial journey


Georgetown FinTech Club

Explores financial technology trends through research, blog writing, and speaker events. Offers a collaborative space to analyze emerging global finance technologies.


Georgetown Marketing Association

Georgetown’s premier student-run marketing consultancy. GMA offers strategy training, real-world client engagements, and industry networking for students interested in marketing careers.


Georgetown Retail and Luxury Association (GRLA)

Bridges Georgetown students with leaders in the retail and luxury sectors. Hosts large-scale events and executive talks through a committee-led structure.


Georgetown Student Capital Partners (GCaP)

The university’s official undergraduate organization for private equity, venture capital, and startup investing. Offers rigorous financial education and real-world client advisory experience.


Georgetown University Business and Health Association (GUBHA)

Connects students to careers at the intersection of healthcare and business. Provides opportunities for shadowing, internships, and financial literacy in healthcare contexts.


Georgetown University Public Real Estate Fund (GUPREF)

Student-run investment fund focusing on REITs and CMBS, with $300K in assets under management. Operates in partnership with the Steers Center for Global Real Assets.


Georgetown Ventures

Georgetown’s startup accelerator for undergraduate founders. Offers a semester-long program that provides strategic, creative, and technical support for launching startups.


Hilltop Consultants

Consults for mission-driven nonprofits and social enterprises locally and globally. Offers training and career support in social impact consulting.


Hoyalytics

A student community passionate about data analytics. Provides hands-on learning in research, consulting, and data storytelling across multiple industries.


Innovo Consulting

A pro bono consulting group that works with social impact organizations. Offers comprehensive strategy and operations solutions to nonprofits.


McDonough Women

Empowers women in business through alumni networking, skill-building workshops, and exclusive career development events with top employers. Open to all McDonough undergraduates.


Out@MSB

Builds an inclusive LGBTQ+ community through advocacy, professional development, and awareness-building events across McDonough and Georgetown. Open to all McDonough undergraduates.


Scholars of Finance

As a club, Scholars of Finance hopes to inspire future finance leaders to steward capital with strong character and integrity through leadership education and executive mentorship to undergraduates.


Smart Woman Securities (SWS)

Educates undergraduate women on finance and investing. Combining seminars with mentorship and industry exposure to advance women in finance.
