Q: What is the International Executive MBA (IEMBA) Program? A: The International Executive MBA Program is an eighteen-month, intensive executive MBA program which concentrates on quantitative, analytical, and practical disciplines with an international focus. The program is oriented towards full-time employees with extensive management experience. Q: What are the admission requirements?
A: Successful applicants typically have seven or more years of work experience. Each applicant must successfully complete the IEMBA application. A complete application includes the application form, personal statement, letter of support from employer, two references, all academic transcripts, and a GMAT score. Students are encouraged to meet with admissions counselors for a personal interview. For students who are not native English speakers, or who have not completed a degree in a country where English is the primary language, a TOEFL score may be required. Q: What kind of work experience do you require? A: IEMBA participants represent diverse backgrounds of work experience from all industry sectors. However, most applicants have a minimum of seven years experience in a mid-management position. Experience working overseas or with an international organization is helpful, but not required. Q: Can I use transfer credits towards the program?
A: No. Students are required to complete the IEMBA curriculum in a cohort. Q: Are there any prerequisites?
A: You are required to have completed one semester of college-level financial accounting prior to entering the program. Q: When can I enroll?
A: Students must apply to the program by May 31 to be considered for the fall. The sooner an application is received, the better the chances of securing a position. We begin accepting applications in November. Enrollment is offered every fall.
Q: When does the program meet?
A: The program meets on Fridays and Saturdays of alternating weekends on the main campus. Because students will be absent from work on alternating Fridays, a letter of support is required from the student's employer. |
