At Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, the undergraduate curriculum integrates business and liberal arts courses to develop students’ critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and leadership skills.
Students must complete 120 semester hours across four key areas: the university and liberal arts core, business core, major requirements, and electives, ensuring a well-rounded and globally informed education.
Effective writing is essential in business. At McDonough, students learn to write with precision, clarity, and purpose, developing skills for real-world formats such as:
Whitepapers
Presentation decks
Emails and memos
Throughout the program, students complete writing assignments that form a professional portfolio to showcase to potential employers.
Joint Degrees
