Undergraduate Global Business Experience (GBE)
Gain Hands-On Consulting Experience with Global Organizations
The Global Business Experience (GBE) is a three-credit course (BADM 4090) that offers undergraduate students at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business the opportunity to work on real-world consulting projects for international client organizations. Through this course, students develop practical business skills, deepen their global understanding, and gain exposure to private, public, or nonprofit sectors abroad.
Program Overview
Students are assigned to consulting teams and paired with a client organization located outside the United States. Under faculty supervision, each team tackles a specific business challenge and delivers data-driven, strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
The course culminates in a final presentation delivered in person during a one-week trip to the client’s country, either during spring break or immediately following the end of the spring semester.
Travel Policy: For safety and compliance reasons, students are required to travel with the group. Independent travel arrangements are not permitted.
