Meet the Admissions Team
Kelly R. Wilson, Assistant Dean
Kelly joined Georgetown University in July 2009 and has more than 12 years of MBA admissions experience. She serves as assistant dean of the Full-time MBA Program at the McDonough School of Business. Prior to joining Georgetown, she served as assistant dean, MBA admissions for the full- and part-time MBA programs at the University of Pittsburgh. During her tenure at Pitt, she earned an MS-MIS degree and served on the board of directors for the Graduate Management Admissions Council for a three-year appointment. Before entering the higher education industry, Kelly worked in the corporate sector for 8.5 years. She joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior associate for strategic change after obtaining an MBA from George Mason University. She also worked as an Account Executive for Johnson & Higgins. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Grove City College.
Kristen Bautz, Marketing and Events Coordinator
Kristen Bautz is a marketing and events coordinator of admissions and provides support for on- and off-campus admissions events. Kristen also coordinates the interview process, including managing the MBA Insider Student Hosts. Kristen received a bachelor's degree in French with a minor in Spanish from Georgetown University in May 2010. Prior to joining the Admissions team, she worked in MBA Student Services as a front desk coordinator.
Elizabeth Del Real, Operations Coordinator
Elizabeth Deal Real is an operations coordinator of admissions and provides support for the Full-time MBA Program and Evening Programs to ensure that each applicant’s file is complete and ready for review by the admissions committee. Elizabeth previously worked for the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission and is a 2010 graduate of Boston College from the School of Arts and Sciences with a double major in Political Science and Economics, and a minor in Faith, Peace and Justice.
Beth Hickman, Assistant Director
Beth Hickman is an assistant director of admissions. She joined the McDonough School of Business in 2009 and manages projects related to operations, serves as the official liaison for dual degree prospective students and manages the admissions database system for all applicants. Prior to joining Georgetown, she worked in property management of commercial office space in Washington, DC. Beth received a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Canisius College in 2004 and is pursuing her master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communication.
Kendra Kirk, Front Office Coordinator
Kendra Kirk is the front office coordinator of admissions. Kendra earned a bachelor's degree in French Literature from the University of Virginia in June 2009. Prior to joining the admissions team, she worked in France as an English Language and Culture Assistant and at The American School in Switzerland as a summer camp counselor.
Hilary Prokop, Associate Director
Hilary Prokop is an associate director of admissions and manages the MBA Student Recruiters and the on-campus visit programs as well as admissions events for prospective and admitted students. She received a bachelor’s degree in History and earned a Juris Doctorate. Prior to coming to Georgetown in September 2008, she worked as an attorney and in MBA admissions at the NYU Stern School of Business.
Katelyn Rosa Stephenson, Senior Associate Director
Katelyn Rosa Stephenson is an associate director of admissions and manages operations for the Full-time MBA Program. Prior to coming to Georgetown in March 2008, Katelyn worked in undergraduate admissions at The George Washington University. She received a bachelor’s degree in English with minors in Spanish and Women’s Studies from Boston College, a master’s degree in Education from the University of Notre Dame, and completed coursework toward a doctorate in Higher Education Administration with a focus on International Education.
Lindsey Waldrop, Associate Director
Lindsey Waldrop is an associate director of admissions and manages marketing and recruiting for the Full-time MBA Program. She joined the McDonough School of Business in 2005 to support the launch of the MBA Evening Program. Lindsey completed a master’s degree in Policy Management from the Georgetown Public Policy Institute and undergraduate studies in Human Resource Management at the University of Florida. Lindsey also is a former Peace Corps volunteer who served in Ghana, West Africa.
Lori Winters, Assistant Director
Lori Winters is an assistant director of admissions. She manages technology and on-line marketing initiatives for the Full-time MBA Program. Prior to coming to Georgetown in June 2009, Lori spent five years in corporate finance and recruitment in Boston. She received an MBA with a concentration in Organizational Behavior and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Strategic Human Capital Management.
